Below, you can find our TERMS AND CONDITIONS to be a member of our Library:

❖ Choose your Membership Plan
For annual memberships, Peek a Book The Library offers the option to suspend the subscription for a maximum of 2 consecutive months or two times a year, for one month each time. This pause option is designed to provide valuable flexibility, allowing our members to strategically manage their reading experience and ensure the full utilization of the 12-month membership.
For monthly memberships, you can stop the subscription at any moment by writing us an email or WhatsApp.

❖ Register yourself - Membership is available to all people over the age of 18 after completion of a Subscription Form.

❖ You can pay through the payment link during the registration process.
We also give you the payment option by bank transfer or Cash on Delivery (Yes !!!).
Once the payment is made, you will receive the credentials to login into our portal:

You can take books out the same day you get your membership!

❖ Start Exploring Books - Dive into the collection where you will find books for toddlers to 10-year-olds in different languages: English, French, Italian, and Spanish, from biographies to fantasy fiction, from all-time classics to comic books, with a wide variety of authors. We have everything (well, almost) your child would want to read.

❖ Request for Delivery - After your reservation, we will contact you to arrange the delivery of your books to your doorstep at your convenience within 3 working days from the order placement.

Members can borrow as per the membership chosen. The borrowing period is according to the plan subscribed.
Before the expiry date, you will receive an email/WhatsApp reminding you of the return of the books and the collection methods.
Only members in good standing can borrow books from Peek a Book the Library. If your account is Blacklisted, you can't be able to borrow books.

Members will be Blacklisted after one month for failure to return books. Members will be notified by e-mail, and after the month, the blacklisting has been rescinded by application to the Library Committee.
Peek a Book The Library reserves the right to recall borrowed items at any time before or after their due date.

Members can postpone the return of the books once.
This will extend the due date by 8(eight) days for Gruffalo and the due date by 12 (twelve) days Pinocchio package and 15 (fifteen) days for the Potter package starting from the return due date of the book(s).
The Monthly package doesn't give this option.
❖ Renewals are not permitted if a book has been reserved.
❖ Renewals can be done via the website, or contact us directly by WhatsApp. Remember you can do that ONLY if the book is not already reserved by another member
❖ Only one renewal per book is permitted.

All items borrowed shall always remain the property of the Peek a Book The Library. If a book is lost or damaged, a replacement must be paid for in full before more books can be borrowed. Charges for lost or damaged books are as follows:
1. Replacement value of book OR
2. Replacement copy of the lost book to be supplied by a member (new book only, not used)

Renewal of the package - When the time for renewal of membership comes, we will send a reminder to you. First, the request to return of the old set of books must be made, and then the process of selecting the plan, making payment, and selecting books for the new set must be followed. The person bringing the new set of books to your doorstep will take back the old set.
